    Your private Mercedes and driver collect you directly from your Istanbul hotel, on either the European or Asian side, at a time we agree in advance. From there it is a relaxed drive of about 1.5 to 2 hours east toward the lakes and forests of the Sakarya region, and because the day is entirely yours you set the pace from the first minute.

    A calm freshwater lake ringed by wooded hills, Sapanca is the day's first breath of open air — a place to stroll along the shore, take photos over the water and sit down to Turkish tea or a late breakfast at a lakeside café. Because the tour is private, you can linger as long as the view holds you rather than watch the clock for a group coach.

  3. Maşukiye village & waterfalls

    Maşukiye village & waterfalls

    A green mountain village strung along fast-running streams, Maşukiye is known for its little waterfalls and its riverside trout restaurants, where the tables are set almost over the water. It is the classic spot for an unhurried trout lunch or an organic village breakfast (arranged on request), with the sound of the stream in the background. Your driver can point you toward a favourite terrace and leave the timing to you.

    Kartepe viewpoint / plateau

    Rising to around 1,650 metres above the lake, Kartepe is a winter ski resort that becomes a cool, green viewpoint in the warmer months. From the plateau a clear day opens up a sweeping panorama back over Lake Sapanca and the forested hills around it. The summit chairlift runs seasonally and by weather, so we treat it as an optional extra rather than a fixed promise.

    One of the region's largest wildlife parks, Ormanya spreads across wooded parkland with native and rescued animals kept in wide, natural enclosures, easy walking trails and a photogenic cluster of 'hobbit' houses. It is a gentle, unhurried stop and a firm favourite with families travelling with children. Whether we include it depends on how the rest of your day has run — the choice stays yours.

    An easy drive back to the city, ending with a comfortable drop-off right at your Istanbul hotel. Your arrival time depends on the traffic and on how long you chose to linger at each stop along the way.
